About Oslo

Oslo Town Hall

Oslo is the oldest of the Scandinavian capitals, and its history goes back 1000 years, to the time when the first settlements were built at the inlet of the Oslo fjord. The capital of Norway is also its largest city. Oslo has over 600,000 inhabitants and covers 454 square kilometres, 242 of which are forests.

Main airport: Oslo Airport – Gardermoen has frequent connections to most airline hubs in Europe and also to the rest of the world. From Oslo Airport – Gardermoen there is a high speed train connection (20 minutes) to Oslo Central Station.

The Congress Venues

Oslo Congress Center

There are two main congress venues, Oslo Congress Center (OKS) and Clarion Hotel Royal Christiania (RC). The walking distance between the two venues is less than five minutes.
